I enlisted in the Navy Delayed Entry Program in January 1977, In October of 1977. I then served 20 years at various commands thru out the United States and the World.  After 20 Years of Active duty I retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8).  In August of 1997 I started teaching NJROTC at Westside High School in Augusta, Ga.   In July of 2008 I moved to Russell Springs and was hired at Russell County High School to teach NJROTC.  I received my degree in Criminal Justice (Administration) from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach Alabama.
